How can you test what kind of a foot arch you have?

In brief: See below
Get you foot wet and then step down on a flat dry surface.
If there is a mark of the entire foot you are flat footed, if only a mark of the heel, toes and ball of foot you have a high arch, if you can see the toes, ball of foot, heel and outside of the arch connecting the ball and heel you probably have a normal arch.

In brief: Paper bag
Get a paper grocery bag.
Wet your foot. Step on the bag. If you see a big blob you have a flat arch. If you see a skinny line connecting the heel and ball of your foot, high arch. Otherwise, normal arch.
