Antidepressants have no adverse effect on fertility, but depression itself may decrease libido and therefore curtail fecundity by decreased frequency of intercourse.
Alternatively, depression may make you feel as if you are having difficulty getting pregnant when in fact it takes 6 months for most healthy couples to conceive.
