Did you follow the Nurse's instructions? Hydrate well, eat a good meal, get a good night's rest? Limit alcohol and tobacco? Avoid strenuous activity? If not, these could trigger feeling poorly for a day or so. Otherwise, excess worry , as Dr. Ali mentioned, can as well. Or, you could be trying to get ill, which if worsens, should prompt phone call to the donor hotline provided so your blood isn't given to someone who might already be sick enough that getting a "cold" could harm them.
