CBC and CRP- needed. CBC is a complete blood count and is should be included on many visits, particularly if you take drugs which can cause anemia or have been anemic. Crp is a test for a serious surrogate for inflammation in the body. It can be elevated with infection, rheumatologic inflammation, and in type -2 diabetics, or even those with metabolic syndrome without dm. It is a predictor of heart disease.
CBC CRP. CBC stands for complete blood count and looks at the different types of blood cells you have. It is used to diagnose conditions like anemia and infection. CRP stands for c reactive protein which is a marker for inflammation.
