You need to make sure the quality of you jogging is helping you burn fat.
Interval training burns more fat than just a constant pace for at least 45 min. So run for 80% your max for 60 sec then easy jog 30 sec...Then repeat. Adequate exercise is only half the solution, so the proper diet is necessary to make you lose weight. Low calories, low carbs, lots of protein.
