In brief: No

Antioxidants are intimately involved in the prevention of cellular damage.
However, the role of antioxidant supplementation in a well nourished athlete is controversial. They will not help so eat a balanced diet at least 2 hours before exercising.

In brief: Antioxidant benefit

Exercise does break down tissue - broken down muscle will oxidize a bit.
And it loosens oxidative molecules into the circulation -- so yes, eating food high in anti-oxidants after exercise can benefit your body and your muscles. These include: Fruits of color, veggies of color, whole fruit/veg juices with no added sugar, such as V8 Fusion and NAKEN brands. For protein - best is egg whites.
