In brief: Seek Consult
Good question, but not enough space here.
Seek consultation with board-certified plastic surgeons to discuss your goals. Learn about the pros/cons/risks/complications associated with breast augmentation surgery in order to make an informed decision. Understand, that breast augmentation surgery will almost certainly guarantee you additional breast surgery in the future. Best wishes.

In brief: Personal Decision
Any surgery has risks and benefits and breast implants are no different.
The best thing is to have a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your specific concerns.

Implants inevitably will rupture and change the breast appearance.further surgery is then required to repair those changes

In brief: Risks & Benefits
Every surgery has risks.
Breast implants can become displaced, develop capsular contracture, infection, thinning of the overlying breast tissue, and other problems. Discuss these risks with your plastic surgeon.

In brief: Many but +outweigh-
There are many potential negatives but the positives outweigh the negatives and include: infection, hematoma, wound breakdown, asymmetry, implant exposure/extrusion/rupture overcorrection/undercorrection, contour irregularity, capsular contracture, distortion with muscular contraction, interference with oncologic evaluation of the breast, interference with nipple sensation, nursing or aging, etc.

In brief: Several
Breast implants are imperfect devices.
They may settle unevenly, too high or too low. They may get infected (rare). They do not last forever and the scar around them may harden with time. Radiologists say they make mammograms harder to read though no study has shown women with implants do any worse if they get breast cancer. Most who choose to get implants want new ones if the old ones wear out.

In brief: Depends
If you are considering breast implants as cosmetic and not reconstructive, the implications are different.
Breast implants, both saline and silicone are provisionally approved pending 10 year studies by their makers. The reporting of any problems has been less than optimal. The question of autoimmune disorders and connective tissue disorders is still unknown. Therefore, buyer be aware. We're not sure.
