In brief: Hat, gloves, socks
Babies lose the most head through their head, so make sure your baby is always wearing a hat.
Covering their hands and feet is also a good idea to help them keep warm. A useful tip is to see what you are wearing for the weather and dress your baby in one extra layer. This extra layer may be a swaddling blanket.

All great advice for the outdoors. Keep in mind that indoors, wearing a hat is an independent risk factor for SIDS, so he won't need one while he's sleeping in his bed at night!

In brief: Cover exposed skin
Most babies will be quite comfortable in a t-shirt, onezie, hat &mittens.
If you find the back of babies neck moist with this getup then baby is sweating & less is ok. Layering with other shirts is ok. Remember to avoid comforters, stuffed pillows etc that baby could trap their nose in and smother. Limit blanket use to the early period until baby can settle without swaddeling.
