In brief: No
You've been smoking, you should still have your teeth cleaned and checked at least two times a year.

In brief: No, but smoking does
Chantix is used as an aid to stop smoking and one of the reported side effects is depression.
Often times people who have been smoking for many years use Chantix to help them quit smoking. Even though there are no studies to show that Chantix causes tooth loss, there are many studies that link smokers with gum disease and oral cancer. Both these can be responsible for tooth loss.

To clarify I have not read any literature in regards to chantix's causing this.
Chantix's does have a black box warning required by the fda due to other major side effects. However tooth loose could be do to the previous smoking alcohol intake and care of teeth and not related to chantix's.
