Are STDs and bladder discomfort associated?

They can be. Stds can cause bladder discomfort or pain. For example, chlamydia can infect the urethra (the tube from the bladder to the outside) and vaginal herpes often causes pain with urination. There are lots of other non-std causes for bladder discomfort as well. You should see your doctor and have them evaluate the bladder discomfort and test you for stds if you are at risk.
