What dose of fish oil is recommended to avoid alzheimers? Are there other ways to reduce the risk?

In brief: No precise recipe
Surely the omega 3 fatty acids have some protective qualities, but maybe also, red wine, coffee, cold water fish, and perhaps the best overall approach is the mediterranean diet, which combines most of the approaches into one.

In brief: See below
There is no fda regulation on the current dose of fish oil for prevention of alzheimer's disease.
The only fda approved medication that helps to slow down memory loss is called amini-3. It contains fish oil, dha and others. Another options to prevent it are to exercise regularly, to engage brain game (ie crossword puzzle or wii games) and to maintain busy schedule/socialization.
