In brief: Only if baby is weak

If baby is too weak for breast feeding, pumping and bottle feeding may be the answer. Discuss with your pediatrician.

Breast milk can be put in special bottles for storage. Ask the ward nurses for some. It's the best thing to give your baby

In brief: Yes

Absolutely. Once a sick child is able to feed again, breast milk will still be the best food.

Ask nurses on the ward to store the breast milk for your baby. They'll put it in the right containers. They may give you an electric pump.
