In brief: Yes

Definately, although your baby may express a strong preference for which way they'll eat.
It helps to have warm pumped breast milk in the bottle and have someone besides mom give it as babies "know" they are by the breast and may refuse the bottle.

In brief: Yes

Try to introduce the bottle around 3 weeks of age and make sure you give baby a bottle a couple times a week.
If you give it too infrequently they may begin to refuse taking the bottle. Allowing your baby to take a bottle can give mom more flexibility and a little break. Just make sure you pump if you don't nurse to keep your milk supply adequate for your growing baby.
