Which form of jaundice requires surgery?

See below. Jaundice caused my cancer which obstructs the bile ducts and occasionally jaundice caused by gallstones may require surgical therapy. This is a very broad generalization as this question has a lots of potential variables making it difficult to answer precisely.
Varies. Causes of jaundice can be obstructive jaundice (gallstones, cancers) or hepatocellular. Most forms of obstructive jaundice will need surgery or endoscopic procedures. Progressive liver disease causing jaundice could require a liver transplant surgery.
