In brief: Discuss with Surgeon

The general answer is at least 6 months.
However, this depends on how well your rehabilitation has progressed. Sometimes it is not appropriate to return to full unrestricted sports for 9 to 12 months.

In brief: Wouldnt suggest

If you have a lower extremity stress fracture i don't think you should be playing sports, if you do, there is the possibility that the fracture could worsen or displace and make a relatively minor problem much more serious.
