In brief: Crohn's colitis
Colitis is inflammation of the colon; multiple causes.
Granulomas are a type of cellular inflammatory reaction. Crohn's disease is characterized by granulomatous inflammation. Less common other causes include tuberculosis (different type of granuloma) and sarcoidosis. Ulcerative colitis (other ibd) affects lining of colon, may have very superficial granulomas, but not the same as crohn's.
