In brief: Non-immune

If you've had close contact with someone with hepatitis a and you're not immune (either through vaccination or prior infection), you should receive Immune Globulin and start the vaccine series.
Better yet, just get vaccinated so you won't ever have to worry about being exposed.

In brief: See below

Postexposure prophylaxis should be considered in individuals who have been exposed to HAV and have not previously received HAV vaccine.
Such patients should receive a single antigen vaccine or IG (0.02 ml/kg) as soon as possible.
