Has anyone had success in treating a type of acne that looks like granules under the skin, lots of them, and only sebum comes out when squeezed?

In brief: Yes

I'm assuming this is the type that, when squeezed, expresses a filament of white material, and infection / redness / actual pus is uncommon or absent.
A topical retinoic acid derivative might be the best thing to try first. Good luck.
