In brief: SAME CONDITION BUT

When people say Asthma they really mean Bronchial Asthma most of the time But there is another kind of Asthma we have sometimes called Cardiac Asthma which is a cardiac condition in which there is shortness of breath due to lungs filled up with fluid due to acute left heart failure and causes shortness of breath and wheezing But in lay man's term Bronchial Asthma and Asthma are used for same

In brief: Asthma definition

Bronchial asthma is the same as asthma.
In the past, doctors used to talk about "allergic bronchitis" but that term fell out of favor. It's not completely inaccurate, though, because some asthmatics seem to produce more secretions than others, making their illness seem more like bronchitis. We still distinguish between allergic asthma, intrinsic asthma and exercise-induced bronchospasm (et al).

In brief: Interesting

By bronchial asthma, I am assuming you mean constriction of bronchi (airway) caused by viruses (rsv).
Cool mist air can help. Otherwise if bad, bronchodilaters like albuterol are helpful.
