In brief: 1-6 weeks.

Depends on what your problem was and hte surgery performed.
Often after an uncomplicated partial meniscectomy you are allowed to put weight on the knee as tolerated. If there was a chondroplasty for arthritis (drilling/microfracture etc) may not be able to weight bear for up to 4-6 weeks. Returning to work depends on what type of work you do and if you drive there (right knee surgery especially ).

In brief: Depends

Recovery after a knee scope depends on what is done.
A simple meniscectomy and the patient can be up and walking the same day. Usually the patient can be back to most activities in 2-3 weeks. A knee ligament reconstruction can take a year to fully recover. Ultimately more information regarding the anticipated surgery is needed to give you a ballpark number.
