In brief: Osteoarthritis (OA)

Is a "wear and tear" arthritis, degeneration of one or more joints.
It can have many causes such as an injury, biomechanical abnormalities and more which cause progressive joint damage over time. Treatment is largely symptomatic at first, but it is also wise to look into the underlying cause to help treat it effectively.

In brief: Wear and tear

It is what we call a wear and tear arthritis.
We all get some form of osteoarthritis where joints get worn down with time. All we can do is manage the pain associated with this with medications, injections, physical therapy and ultimately surgery.
