In brief: Not really...
It maybe annoying to the people around you but there has not been shown any concrete evidence of negative effect from knuckle-cracking.
Frequent and prolonged (years) cracking possibly cause larger knuckles, but no evidence of damage/arthritis has been found. So, if our knuckles are painful/stiff, consult your doc for an evaulation--because something else is causing such problem. Good luck.
