There are good ways and bad ways to lose weight.
It is best if one can reduce calories taken in and exercise and burn off more calories. Diet pills can be used to jump start one on a diet and help to begin to lose weight but it is best to do it without them if at all possible. They have side effects and one should be monitored very closely by someone trained in their use.

Perhaps with the development of meds based on hunger & satiety hormones (ghrelin & leptin) we may one day have safer, more physiologic weight loss pills.
