In brief: Pain/infection/loss
If not treated the bacteria will cont to cause damage to the teeth eventually killing the nerve of the tooth (may or may not be painful) then causing tooth to abcess.
The tooth would need a root canal and a crown to fix or need to be removed. If you wait too long it may not be fixable and will need to be removed. Simply put, see your dentist and take care of it before that point.

In brief: You lose teeth
Cavities can only be repaired up to certain extent.
Once you cross the line they have to be pulled. You can also end up with dental infections like a tooth abscess. A rotten tooth can also cause a lot of pain. Missing teeth can lead to a lot of problems, like bone loss, denture problems, poor nutrition (dentures can change what you can eat), jaw pain, etc. See a dentist.
