In brief: Schedule an exam

There are several factors that contribute to the cost of braces.
Each patient is different and there should not be a cookie cutter approach with one fee for all. You schedule an exam with an orthodontist to discuss your issues and options.

In brief: Not cheap

Depending on the severity of the case, i would say minimum $4500.
I do invisalign clear aligners at my clinic and charge $4000-$5000 per case.

My first reaction would be to give answers about BRACES. Invisalign is in vogue, and it does move teeth, that is all I should say at this juncture.

General dentists use Invisalign, as the profit margin is high and the academic certification can be as little as two days of education. Orthodontists use it as well, but have a strong bias towards braces for fully addressing all occlusal abnormalities. The academic bar is rather higher, being a full 2 to 3 years after 4 years of dental school.

In brief: Not soup

The cost of Orthodontic Treatment (the appliance used will vary dependent upon the diagnosis) is not like going into the supermarket and buying a can of soup.
Ortho Care is a service,,not a commodity, so fee will vary depending upon extent of the problem. The more complex, the longer in treatment, the more the cost. See a qualified Orthodontist for answers that address your problem set.

In brief: Varies

greatly based on treatment needed, neighborhood/state, provider. Typically for a comprehensive case, with insurance, it will likely be under $5,000 (most negotiated rates with carriers), but we have seen prices here in CO range from $4,000 to over $9,000 depending on the above factors.
We are here in CO and are much closer to the $4,000 typically (while being named the #1 provider in the state!)

In brief: Varies

The range of costs for orthodontic treatment are quite variable dependent upon the difficulty of the treatment that you need.
The best way to determine the professional fees for your situation is to make an appointment for an evaluation with an orthodontic specialist.

In brief: Regionally dependent

Orthodontic treatment cost vary according to region somewhat.
Some area have a higher cost of doing business. Also, type of service will dictate cost somewhat. An up to date, state of the art, provider will likely cost more than a cut rate retail chain orthodontic office. Your experience will likely be different between these two choices.

In brief: Depands case /locati

The cost in us can vary from 3500 to 7000.
The variation can be based on the degree of problem or malocclusion, expertise of the doctor , mechanics used ( visible, partially visible-ceramic braces, totally invisible -clear aligners, invisalign etc and the geographic location. Some metropolitan areas might be more expensive due to larger local overheads. In third world countries it is much cheaper.
