Is there a wrist joint replacement? I've heard or knee and hip replacements, but not wrist replacements.

In brief: Yes
Wrist joints can also be replaced and just like hips and knees, the joints are made from metal and plastic.
Unlike hip and knee replacements, they are not as durable and require more restrictions. Typically a 5 pound lifting limit is recommended. This procedure is best used in older, low demand women with rheumatoid arthritis. A wrist fusion or proximal row carpectomy are more common treatments.
