In brief: Not very long
Sclerotherapy works by causing inflammation.
As a result, you will probably have some discomfort afterwards. You can get a sort itchy, stingy feeling for about 20 minutes afterwards and then a tender, bruised feeling for a couple of days. None of this is likely to keep you from doing anything but Ibuprofen helps. Wearing compression stockings afterwards usually helps too.

In brief: Less than a day.
Sclero therapy is very well tolerated, especially with polidocanol.
Some stinging with administration but quickly fades away.

In brief: Vein treatments.
Sclerotherapy is the treatment of either spider or varicose veins by injection.
Spider vein sclerotherapy is usually associated with no post treatment discomfort and, if there is, it may last 24 hours. Varicose vein sclerotherapy, since they are larger veins, may have post treatment discomfort because the veins can clot and this can cause discomfort which could last for several weeks.
