What are some alternative approaches to help with my tendinitis?

Tendonitis. Most forms of tendonitis respond to strengthening exercises. I advise my patients to do 4-5 sets of 10-12 reps with increasing weights for each set. After exercising it is a good idea to ice the affected area for about 10 minutes. Except for plantar fascitis and achilles tendonitis I am not a big fan of stretching.
