Have been advised to start taking glucosamine and cod liver oil, for stiff joint pain?

No evidence...... There is no evidence that combo will help you with stiff joint pain. Sorry.
Gluc/chr good. The combination of glucosamine and chondroitin has been shown in studies to (1) provide a degree of pain relief in the short term, and (2) trigger growth of new cartilage when taken for at least two years straight. So it can help you pain and reverse some of the chronic damage. You can find this in the health food store. Not so sure the cod liver oil will help much, but couldn't hurt .

I am currently taking cod liver oil glucosamine chondroitina and 10pg of vit d. .. I wish to take calcium magnesium too but has 5.0 vit d isit ok?

Confused by units. I am confused by your units.10 pg=.00001 mcg of vit d=.0004 iu which is an incredibly tiny amount, given that the recommended daily intake is 600 iu/day and most adults need 5000-8000 iu/day in fall and winter to achieve adequate levels.Toxicity has not been reported with intakes of 10, 000 iu/day or less.
