Plaque ruptures shedding debris & inducing clots are what drive cardiovascular events; why the problem does not show well on angiograms; much less stress tests (really blind to problem).
Exercise increases pulse pressure; artery stretching & relaxing with each heart beat, thus ?ing frequency of plaque ruptures. Yet most don't do enough damage to produce obvious symptoms. ? my answers on ds drivers.
