I was told a few years ago that creutzfeldt-jacob disease could be spread by perspiration like in sports. True or false.?

In brief: Not likely
Cjd is caused by prions which are microscopic particles similar to viruses but lacking nucleic acid material like dna or rna.
They come from cows and take prolonged and/or significant exposure to pass to humans, e.g. Living on a farm for more than 10 years or deep or transplant surgery. Passage through perspiration would be virtually impossible.
