What is the life expectancy rate of a person diagnosed with stage 4 undifferentiated carcinoma? Pretty bad?

In brief: D/W your oncologist

It will depend on the type of cancer, biology of cancer and the overall condition of the patient.
Undifferentated carcinoma is just description of the cancer cells under microscope- compared to the normal cells, and not telling you anything else otherwise. In majority cases- stage 4 eventhough is treatable ( providing overall patient's condition is not bad) , however it is an incurable disease.
