What are the adverse reactions you might get with nebcin (tobramycin)?

Kidney & hearing. Nebcin (tobramycin) is an aminoglycoside used to treat serious infections like pneumonia. It's given parenterally i.e. By injection or intravenously. Potential side effects include kidney & nerve damage & permanent hearing loss. These can occur at standard dosages but are much more likely at higher doses. Following serum levels is important.
