In brief: Viral infection
The combination of sore throat and swelling with irritation in the eyes is highly suggestive of a viral infection (pharyngitis plus conjunctivitis) for which there is no known treatment that will cure it.
Standard advice is to stay well hydrated (drink plenty of fluids), take Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen for the pain, and apply hot/wet compresses to your eyes. Then just add a tincture of time.
