Psychiatry

In brief: Teichopsia

"teichopsia" refers to the sensation of a luminous appearance before the eyes, with a zigzag, wall-like outline.
People with migraines may experience this, also called an aura. So, i'd suggest consulting a neurologist for a workup. There may be mri's, eeg's, etc -- but if the physician feels your history and neuro exam are extremely clear, these tests may not be needed before starting treatment.
