Diet & emptying. Stool consistancy depends on two main factors: what u eat & how long it stays in the system. After nutrient removal, the watery debris passes thru the lg bowel where water is removed.The longer it stays in, the firmer/drier it will be.If you make 7oz of poo/d you should empty 7 or more.Some foods(apples, pasta) slow transit, some(fruits, vegies) speed transit.Regular effective emptying help u avoid it.
