What are the causes of flatulence?

Two main sources. Your flattus is composed of the air you swallow & gasses created by grems in your digestive tract.Bacteria & other germs live off the material your body does'nt absorb during digestion & produce a gas in this process. Lactose ingested by intolerant people will make them gassy because the germs love the left overs. A sugar in vegies(fucose) makes most of us gassy since we can't absorb it.
Diet. Gas is caused by the breakdown of various foods by the bacteria and enzymes in your gut. It's totally natural, and that's why they say that "everybody farts"!
