In brief: Yes?

Yes, numerous times.
Aspermia, azoospermia, complete absence of sperm can be diagnosed with semen analysis, although it should be confirmed with more than one test. When i make this diagnosis i always refer to a knowledgeable urologist to consult with the man further.

In brief: Often

I see aspermia, or azoospermia, frequently in my fertility practice.
There are many possible reasons for this. Once confirmed on a second analysis, we do a thorough workup to uncover the cause so we can MAP out a plan to move forward with treatment.
