The effect of radiation and chemotherapy on male fertility depend on (1) what area of the body is being radiated, (2) what type of chemotherapy drugs are being used. Radiation to the testes in men will damage fertility. Certain chemotherapy drugs can also damage fertility. Best is to speak with your oncologist before treatment.
