Yes. Shaking a baby can cause brain damage, from transient loss of consciousness to brain damage such as retardation, motor handicaps or even death.
Brain Inury. Permanent brain injury and death can be the direct result of treatment of a small child. Blindness, learning disability, loss of muscular coordination, and emotional issues have also been linked to this syndrome.
