In brief: Regulations
This depends on the type of holistic practitioner. MD's, DO's, and ND's all have licensure boards you can check.
Acupuncturists may or may not be medically licensed, but have a national certifying organization. Massage therapists, reiki practitioners, ayurveda, nutritionists, homeopaths, etc, all have different organizations. AZ, NV, and CT have homeopathic medical licensure.

In brief: Not any, really.
If you've. Ever seen the warning " these statements have not been evaluated by the FDA etc.
.." you know it's unregulated. That doesn't mean it doesn't work. It's just means they did not subject it to the standard tests. Check https://nccih.nih.org to see what has actually been proven to work.
