In brief: Liposuction risks
Liposuction is one of the most commonly performed procedures and is very safe when performed by a qualified and experienced infividual.
Of course this means conducting a consultation in which the risks and benefits have been reviewed as well as an assessment of realistic expectations in an appropriate candidate. Risks include infection, bleeding, irregularities, fat embolism, necrosis, over/under.

Infection (rare), lumps (fairly common), asymmetry (common), pain (common), bruising (common). Most of the side effects are either not very serious or not very common especially if you are doing the procedure under local anesthesia (not being put to sleep).

In brief: Usually mild....
As long as you seek the help of a qualified surgeon and not the corner butcher, liposuction problems tend to be mild.
The risk do include rarely death, irregularities, bleeding and infection.

In brief: Depends
Liposuction risks vary depending on treatment site (e.
g. Face, neck, body), method used (e.g. Traditional cold technique, laser assisted), amount of tissue removed and type of anesthesia. Certain significant general health risks related to liposuction of major body areas are much less likely with liposuction of the neck or "micro-liposuction" of the face.

In brief: It varies
Most of the bad side effects (death, severe injury) are related to general anesthesia.
Still, even under local anesthesia, death has been reported but it is very very rare. More common issues are irregular lumps, bruising, infection, scars. Have realistic expectations regarding weight loss...Liposuction results in very little weight loss.
