In brief: Define Birth Center

I deliver at a birth center which has private rooms, newborn rooming, birth plan receptive.
.. But still offer 24/7 epidural service, full or availability in-house for emergencies, full time peds/neonatologist if needed, and full lab & blood bank services. Most hospital l&d units are emulating birth centers & maintain all support services in case of emergencies. Tour & deliver where you feel safe.
