In brief: Less med or no epi
For certain procedures your dentist may be able to use less medication, or one without a vasoconstrictor, which will allow the anesthetic to wear off faster. Oraverse is a medication your dentist can inject to reverse the effects of the anesthetic, but involves an additional injection and still takes at least an hour to work.

In brief: Remember
That the faster it wears off, the more quickly you will feel the post-operative pain and probably require pain meds.

In brief: New drug available
Short answer is nothing.
However, there is a new drug out that some dentists are starting to use that actually reverses the effects of a local anesthetic. It's called oraverse. It is not in wide use et, but you could ask your dentist if you want to use it. It does mean another injection in the site of the numbing injection, though.
