In brief: Child eye exam

Usually the first exam (unless something is suspected) should be done around the age of three years so that any problem that could lead to a visual deficit can be treated and the process corrected.

In brief: 3 years

Once child can know either letters or shapes, then they can get vision tested.
Usually happens around 3yo.
