What is the consequence of low testosterone?

1 doctor weighed in

In brief: Low libido & energy

Hypogonadism or male menopause can lead to decreased libido, low overall energy levels and fatigue, mood disorders including depression, and cognitive deficits including memory issues, all of which can be multifactorial in a particular patient.
Correcting the deficiency on an ongoing basis can improve all of the above issues or selectively improve the consequences.

Testosterone should ideally be applied early in the morning but upon waking in the afternoon is generally a fine time to apply it as well. Applying at the same time every day is ideal.
