Is it normal to have blood clots throughout your entire period? Or how many days maximum?

In brief: No

Having large clots during menses is not normal.
It is suggestive of a hormonal imbalance known as estrogen dominance, and/or low thyroid function. Birth control pills are often prescribed for this problem, however, i treat with issue with hormone balance and optimization, which is treating the underlying cause rather than bandaiding the symptom. Seek a physician who practices functional medicin.
