In brief: No

Definitely weight loss and maintenance of a healthy weight is advisable but do not expect the veins to go away.
There are excellent treatments for the varicose veins available today.

In brief: Not at all

Drs. Mountcastle and korona are right.
Weight loss will not make your veins go away. Weight loss is still a good idea and it might help to decrease the symptoms that you have from your varicose veins but, unfortunately, it won't make your veins disappear.

In brief: No

Once the veins are dilated they tend not to return to normal.
Exercise will help. But there are some other options for them.

In brief: NO

No, varicose veins will not go away with weight loss.
Varicose veins are a result of broken valves in your superficial veins thus causing increased pressure in your veins which results in varicosities. Deep vein reflux and /or chronic dvts can also cause varicose veins. None of these can be fixed by weight loss.
