In brief: Cromolyn antiquated

Cromolyn is a medication that was introduced in the usa in the mid 1970's.
It was going to make allergic reactions obsolete. Instead the drug is increasingly difficult to obtain. There used to be a similar medication called nedocrimal (tilade) which is no longer available in the usa. In some people antihistamines and/or topical nasal steroids or inhaled steroids may be substitues.
