In brief: No
Recurrent diverticulitis after surgery is less than 15%.
Stricuring after colon surgery is more likely due to scarring at the new intestinal connection. A gastroenterologist mat be able to dilate the anastomosis if it is causing you any problems or symptoms. If it is causing you no symptoms, then it may just be able to be observed.

In brief: No-many possibilitie
A stricture is a narrowing of the colon that can arise due to diseases of the colon such as diverticulitis, cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, or as a complication of prior surgery.
Management may include endoscopic dilitation of the stricture or surgical excision, depending upon the cause of the stricture. I recommend that you return to see your surgeon for their expert opinion.
